DAY 7: Movie, Korean Noodles, Chopsticks, Yut-Nori!

July 24th, Thursday

We watched the movie "The Host"

which is about a monster which appeared in the Han River in Seoul.

During the movie we ate Cup Ramen Noodles using Chopsticks!

Because there weren't many people in the class that day,

we decided to pause the movie and play 

a traditional Korean board game called "Yut-Nori"

DAY 5: Han-Ji Boxes

We made paper boxes decorated with Han-Ji,

which is traditional Korean paper.

Han-Ji is known for its strength, elasticity and transparency.

It is often used in crafts, furniture and paintings.

DAY 4: Photoshop 2

Today we learned about different tools:

Marquee and the Healing Brush

Also we learned about layers and how to

create, delete, and change the composition of them.

Here is an example of using the Healing Brush tool:

DAY 3: 식객 (Le Grand Chef) & 제기 (Jegi) Game

Today we watched the movie Sig-Gaek (La Grand Chef) and learned 

a little bit about Korean food.

We also had a traditional Korean snack, Yak-Gua (약과).

After the movie we went outside and played Jegi.

DAY 2: Photoshop 1

Today we had our first photoshop lesson.

We learned how to use layers and 

merged a person picture and a background picture using the Magic Eraser.

Tomorrow we will watch a movie called Sig-Gak.

DAY 1: Introduction

We were very glad to meet everyone for the first time!

Thank you for your warm welcome.

Today we introduced ourselves to each other and made name tags.

We wrote our names in Korean, and learned a little bit 

about the Korean alphabet, Hangul.

Tomorrow we will have our first lesson on Photoshop.
